· Eniola must first identify and contact a willing host supervisor at one of ARUA's 13 Centres of Excellence or 22 Africa-Europe Clusters of Excellence (CoREs) — the fellowship funds research conducted *at* these institutions, so an institutional host is a prerequisite, not just a nice-to-have. As an independent researcher, she is not currently embedded in an ARUA member university; she must arrange this affiliation before submitting. Option 2 deadline is 15 July 2026 — only six days away — so outreach to potential host supervisors (e.g. pharmacology, neuroscience, or computational biology CoEs at University of Cape Town, University of Ghana, Makerere, etc.) must happen immediately.
