Framing Angle (from Research)
Eniola should position his venture as a techbio platform that uses AI and topological data analysis (TOPOLOGIX) to predict drug resistance and optimize pharma R&D, directly aligning with DayOne's focus on AI-powered drug discovery. Highlight the IMPRINT and TOPOLOGIX prototypes as ready-for-pharma tools, and leverage endorsements from Berridge, Gershman, and Daw to establish credibility. Emphasize the planned Servier pilot and the equity-free, pharma-neutral nature of the accelerator as a perfect fit for an independent researcher seeking industry collaboration.

MOTIVATION LETTER
The DayOne Healthtech Accelerator bridges healthtech innovation with pharma R&D, which is precisely the gap my work addresses. I am an independent computational pharmacology researcher based in Lagos, Nigeria, and I have built two platforms that are ready for pharma collaboration within the next twelve months. TOPOLOGIX uses topological data analysis with persistent homology and bipartite simplicial complexes to predict drug-protein interactions and drug resistance. Its MVP currently screens for hERG cardiotoxicity, a known bottleneck in preclinical development. IMPRINT is an addiction-liability screening tool that applies the Conjunctive Consolidation Threshold model, a tripartite pharmacological framework I developed and validated through three sole-authored preprints on OSF and Zenodo. The CCT model achieved an 85.8 percent reduction in encoding probability in ODE/RK45 and Bayesian MCMC simulations, with all five pre-registered hypotheses confirmed. These platforms are functional prototypes built with Python, scipy, PyMC, RDKit, and Gudhi, and they are designed to integrate directly into pharma discovery pipelines.
I am applying to DayOne because the accelerator is equity-free and pharma-neutral. I am an independent researcher without institutional backing, and I need a programme that values technical rigor over corporate affiliation. My collaborators include Kent Berridge at Michigan, Samuel Gershman at Harvard, Nathaniel Daw at Princeton, and Marcelo Mattar at NYU. I hold a provisional patent on the CCT core architecture filed in Q3 2026. My co-authored paper on alcohol addiction is under review at Alcohol, Elsevier. I have a B.Pharm from the University of Ibadan with a CGPA of 5.1 out of 7.0, equivalent to a German 1.9, and I am a PCN-licensed pharmacist. I am currently National Product Manager at Synthcare in Lagos, where I manage product strategy across Nigeria.
DayOne specifically seeks solutions that address clear pharma R&D problems. Drug resistance prediction is a multi-billion-dollar bottleneck. TOPOLOGIX and IMPRINT directly target that problem with validated computational methods. I have planned a pilot with Servier, and I am ready to execute that collaboration through DayOne. The accelerator provides the pharma network and mentorship I need to transition from independent research to industry partnership. I am seeking a structured pathway to deploy my platforms in real pharma environments, not funding alone.
SHORT ESSAY: VENTURE OVERVIEW
My venture is a techbio platform that uses AI and topological data analysis to predict drug resistance and optimize pharma R&D. The core product is TOPOLOGIX, a computational pipeline that models drug-protein interactions using persistent homology on bipartite simplicial complexes. TOPOLOGIX identifies resistance-conferring mutations and off-target toxicity risks before wet-lab validation. The MVP currently screens for hERG cardiotoxicity, a common cause of late-stage drug attrition. The second product is IMPRINT, which screens compounds for addiction liability using the CCT model. Both platforms are built on open-source tools: Python, scipy, numpy, PyMC, RDKit, Gudhi, and Ripser. They run on HPC clusters via Nextflow and SLURM.
The venture addresses a clear pharma R&D problem: the high cost of late-stage failure due to toxicity and resistance. TOPOLOGIX reduces false positives early in the pipeline. IMPRINT flags addiction risk before clinical trials. The target users are pharma R&D teams in oncology, infectious disease, and CNS. I have a planned pilot with Servier. The venture is pre-seed stage with functional prototypes and validation data. I am the sole founder, but I have endorsements from leading computational neuroscientists and pharmacologists. The business model is software-as-a-service with per-compound pricing and partnership licensing.
SHORT ESSAY: TRACTION AND VALIDATION
I have three forms of traction. First, computational validation. The CCT model was tested with ODE/RK45 and Bayesian MCMC simulations. Encoding probability dropped from 0.855 to 0.122, an 85.8 percent reduction. Super-additivity was confirmed at plus 12.8 percentage points. All five pre-registered hypotheses H1 through H5 were confirmed. These results are documented in three sole-authored preprints on OSF and Zenodo, with DOIs. A review article is under review at Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews. A co-authored paper is under review at Alcohol, Elsevier.
Second, platform development. TOPOLOGIX and IMPRINT are functional. TOPOLOGIX has a working MVP for hERG cardiotoxicity screening. IMPRINT is built and ready for compound screening. Both are hosted on GitHub under my profile, AmunRaPtah. I also built GATE, a BCI neural-stimulation safety evaluation tool released under Apache 2.0.
Third, academic endorsement. Kent Berridge, Samuel Gershman, Nathaniel Daw, and Marcelo Mattar have endorsed my work. Gershman provided my arXiv endorsement. I hold a provisional patent on the CCT core architecture. I am a PCN-licensed pharmacist with a B.Pharm from the University of Ibadan. I currently manage national product strategy at Synthcare, giving me direct exposure to pharma supply chains and market needs in Nigeria.
SHORT ESSAY: SCALABILITY AND PHARMA PARTNERSHIP POTENTIAL
The venture scales through software deployment, not physical infrastructure. TOPOLOGIX and IMPRINT are computational platforms that can be integrated into existing pharma R&D pipelines with minimal friction. The target partners are mid-to-large pharma companies with discovery programs in oncology, infectious disease, and CNS. I have already initiated a pilot discussion with Servier. DayOne provides the network to convert that pilot into a formal collaboration.
The business model is per-compound pricing for screening and annual licensing for pipeline integration. The platforms are modular. TOPOLOGIX can be extended to any protein target by updating the structural database. IMPRINT can screen any small-molecule library. The addressable market is the global drug discovery software market, valued at over three billion dollars annually. The competitive advantage is the combination of topological data analysis with validated pharmacological models. No existing platform uses persistent homology on bipartite simplicial complexes for drug resistance prediction. No platform uses the CCT model for addiction liability screening.
I am based in Lagos, Nigeria, which offers a cost advantage for development and access to a large, under-served patient population for future clinical validation. The venture is equity-free and independent, which makes partnership terms simpler for pharma companies.

EDITOR NOTES
- Eligibility risk: DayOne may require a registered company entity. Eniola is an independent researcher. Confirm whether a sole proprietorship or Nigerian business registration (e.g., CAC) is needed before submission.
- Fact verification: The planned Servier pilot is mentioned but not documented in the profile. Eniola should confirm the status of that discussion and provide any written correspondence if available.
- Gap: The profile does not specify a venture name. The application may require a company or project name. Eniola should decide on a name (e.g., "Zyco Therapeutics" or "CCT Labs") and register it if needed.
- Gap: The profile does not specify the exact amount of funding sought. DayOne may ask for a target amount. Eniola should prepare a number between 10,000 and 100,000 USD based on operational needs for the next 12 months.
- Gap: The profile does not mention any team members. DayOne may ask about team composition. Eniola should prepare a statement about being a solo founder and his plan to hire or collaborate through the accelerator.
