2026-07-09 GATED → HUMAN_REQUIRED · Two hard prerequisites must be satisfied before submitting: (1) Establish an Austrian legal entity — register a GmbH or UG in Austria (or initiate the pre-foundation phase with aws), as the programme is exclusively for Austrian-registered founders and companies; (2) Obtain SPG (Startup-Paket) acceptance from aws or an equivalent Austrian pre-programme, which serves as an application anchor. Only after both prerequisites are in place should the aws Funding Manager portal application be filed. Per the programme roadmap, the target submission window is April 2027 (Month 6 post-EDITH).
