This programme funds 10 young social entrepreneurs to attend the One Young World Summit, covering travel, accommodation, and summit access, to accelerate their leadership journey in healthcare innovation. It exists to extend Novartis's culture of 'Inspired, Curious, and Unbossed' by connecting emerging leaders with a global network and platform.

Past cohorts are typically young social entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, nurses, volunteers, and medical students who have launched or scaled initiatives addressing pressing healthcare challenges. Named examples are not provided on the page, but the archetype is a hands-on innovator with a tangible venture or initiative, not a pure academic researcher.

A young (18-30) social entrepreneur or healthcare professional with a proven track record of leading a healthcare initiative that has generated measurable positive impact, particularly in an underrepresented country. They must demonstrate leadership, innovation, collaboration, and a clear understanding of global health issues, and be ready to leverage the Summit's network to scale their work.
